Set up your email on your phone, tablet and computer

Connect your email address to all your devices in a few minutes. On iPhone and iPad it is nearly automatic with our signed email profile; for Android and your computer every step and setting is right here.

Start right away: webmail in your browser

The fastest way to your mail is webmail. Go to ljpc.email, log in with your email address and password, and your messages are ready for you. Webmail works on every device and doubles as a handy check: if you can log in here, you know your password is correct before you set up your phone or computer.

iPhone and iPad: done in a few taps with the email profile

For iPhone and iPad we offer the most comfortable route of all: a personal email profile. It is Apple's official way to put every setting on your device correctly in one go. You only enter your name and email address, the profile arranges the rest.

The profile is digitally signed by ljpc.email, so your device recognises it as verified. It contains only your mail settings: you enter your password on your own device and you can remove the profile again at any time.

Then install the profile like this

  1. Open this article in Safari on your iPhone or iPad, tap the download button and choose Allow when your device asks.
  2. Open the Settings app and tap Profile Downloaded at the top. Cannot see it? Go to Settings, General, VPN & Device Management.
  3. Tap Install in the top right corner and enter your device passcode.
  4. Enter the password of your email address when asked.
  5. Done! Open the Mail app and your messages will appear by themselves.

Prefer to set up your iPhone or iPad manually?

That works too. Go to Settings, Mail (on newer iOS versions: Settings, Apps, Mail), choose Accounts and then Add Account. Pick Other at the bottom, tap Add Mail Account and use the settings from the table further down this article.

Android: set up through the Gmail app

Nearly every Android phone comes with the Gmail app. This is how you add your business address there:

  1. Open the Gmail app and tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
  2. Choose Add another account and then Other.
  3. Enter your full email address and tap Set up manually.
  4. Choose Personal (IMAP) and enter the password of your email address.
  5. Incoming mail server: ljpc.email. Tap Next.
  6. Outgoing mail server: also ljpc.email. Tap Next and finish the last steps.

Using Samsung Mail or another mail app? Add an IMAP account with the settings from the table below.

On your computer: Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird

Modern mail clients first ask only for your email address and password. If they ask for server details, choose IMAP and keep the table below at hand.

  • Outlook: choose Add account (through File, or through Settings, Accounts). Enter your email address and choose IMAP when asked.
  • Apple Mail (Mac): choose Mail, Add Account and then Other Mail Account. Enter your name, email address and password; complete the server details with the table.
  • Thunderbird: choose Add existing email address. Thunderbird usually finds the right settings by itself; check that IMAP is selected.

What is the password of my email address?

That is the password agreed when your mailbox was delivered. Forgot it? Send us a message at support@ljpc.nl and you will receive a new password in a secure way.

Is the email profile for iPhone and iPad safe?

Yes. The profile is digitally signed by ljpc.email, contains only your mail settings and never your password. You can remove it at any time through Settings, General, VPN & Device Management.

Does the email profile also work on Android or Windows?

The profile is specifically for Apple devices (iPhone and iPad). On Android and Windows you set up your email just as smoothly with the steps and the settings table in this article.

Does the profile work when I use Chrome or another browser?

Installing works most smoothly through Safari, the browser that comes standard on your iPhone or iPad. If you download the profile through another browser anyway, open the file afterwards in the Files app; your device will then still offer the profile for installation.

Should I choose IMAP or POP?

Choose IMAP. Your mail stays on the server and you see the same mailbox on all your devices, including sent messages and folders.

Can I also read my email in the browser?

Yes, through webmail at https://ljpc.email. Log in with your email address and password and you can mail from anywhere right away.
