How to read the status
- Online: working as it should
- Online, standby: ready to take over right away
- Degraded: working, but part of it cannot be reached right now
- Outage on this component
- No current reading available
- Moving dots: mail can travel along this route to the end
The mail servers, LJPc.email, the relays and the name servers each have a standby ready to take over right away. When something is degraded or down, a notice at the top tells you what is going on. Refresh the page for the latest status.
What are you looking at?
Incoming mail
Mail to your address arrives at our mail servers MX 1 and MX 2. If one of them goes down, or both, MX 3 takes over. With the premium spam filter, your mail passes through it first. The mail server then delivers it to the hosting server that holds your mailbox.
Outgoing mail
Mail you send goes through LJPc.email to the hosting server of your mailbox. From there our relays pass it on to the outbound service, which delivers it to the recipient. If LJPc.email 1 goes down, LJPc.email 2 takes over.
Network and DNS
Our name servers ns1, ns2 and ns3 tell the rest of the internet where to find your website and mail. They work independently, so if one goes down, the other two answer every request. We also watch the network that connects our servers.
